Why do we research about Miyatan?

We researched the Nishinomiya mascot character which was “Miyatan”, because we did not know the background of Miyatan and how it influenced Nishinomiya.
We thought our research would be very worth while to learn about Miyatan's influence, and Nishinomiya city, and how Nishinomiya city is working on tourism as regional vitalization.
